How does a Call of Duty movie sound? No, not like the two minute trailer that made its debut yesterday, but a real motion picture?

In late September, Activision filed a trademark for Call of Duty in relation to “pre-recorded movies feature comedy, drama, action, adventure, music, theatrical performances and/or animation.” Back in May, the Hollywood Reporter ran a story stating that its sources had hinted at knowledge of a Guitar Hero television series, the since-announced World of Warcraft film, and — you guessed it — a Call of Duty movie.

If the film does come to fruition, we wonder if it’ll take the World War II or the “modern warfare” slant. If it’s the latter, they should give Hans Zimmer a call again. Oh, and they might want to lay off the nazi zombie angle; that’s old news.
