CUT was introduced originally in NCAA College Football 14, but things won’t be the same after a decade. In fact, EA Sports has already revealed plenty of information regarding what gamers could expect to find in the Ultimate Team mode. The aim will be to make the best fantasy squad with different cards, and several programs will be released throughout the year. Let’s take a look at all the available game modes which players will have to grind to get all the rewards.

How many game modes are there in College Football 25 Ultimate Team?

Based on the information from the deep dive, College Football 25 Ultimate Team will release with five different game modes. While some of the modes offer a full match, others will let players play custom scenarios and highlight moments.

  • Seasons: Seasons will be divided into several types. Solo Seasons will let you play against AI-opponents, where the aim will be to reach the playoffs and win championships. H2H Seasons will be for those who love PvP action, as players will move up divisions as they win more championships. Squads Regular Seasons will let each player play a certain position on the team, with the aim of winning a championship.
  • Gauntlet: This appears to be the most competitive mode in College Football 25 Ultimate Team. You can become a Gauntlet champion by getting 10 wins, but 2 losses and you’re out. Gauntlets will begin on Fridays and end on Mondays.
  • Champs: You can qualify for Gauntlets by playing Champs during the week. Every week, you can play a maximum of 20 Champs games, and 16 wins are needed to qualify for the Gauntlet. Champs will refresh on Thursdays.
  • Touchdown Tango – This mode will have customized 25-yard First Downs, and you get 14 points for a Touchdown. The first to reach 28 points wins a contest, and there are valuable rewards including ICYMI program packs to be won.
  • Overtime – This will be a short game mode while each player will get a chance to score either a Touchdown or a Field Goal, and the top scorer wins.

Out of all the game modes, Touchdown Tango is going to be available until August 29. Seasons definitely appear to be the main grind as far as rewards are concerned. Champs and Gauntlets will cater to those who love the competitive side of things, similar to Division Rivals and Champions in FC 24.
