Once Human: How to move your territory

Free real estate.

Your territory is home base in Once Human. Youā€™ll probably be returning there before and after every excursion. Your journey, however, will take you all across the big world, so thereā€™s no need for it to stay planted.

There are a lot of reasons for why you might want to move your territory. You may want to move it so itā€™s closer to the region where youā€™re currently tackling missions. Or maybe youā€™ve found a nicer spot with a better view where youā€™d like to plant some roots. Thankfully, actually moving your base is easy. So easy that there really isnā€™t any reason not to.

To move your territory, simply go into the build mode (B button) in any region of the map that isnā€™t a stronghold or active enemy area. You will then get a list of actions and what button theyā€™re assigned to. By default, Z is what you use to relocate your territory. Press that, and an outline of your base will appear, allowing you to select an available and valid spot to build it.

Here are a couple of things to keep in mind:

  • Your base will always be moved complete, so you donā€™t need to rebuild anything.
  • You donā€™t need to spend any components to make the move.

As such, thereā€™s no reason to be afraid to move your base. Even if you decide that youā€™re not enjoying the new spot or feel that your old location was better, you can simply repeat the process to put it back where it was. Itā€™s easy once you know how to do it.
