How to get Caliber in The First Descendant

To get Caliber in The First Descendant, you will have to buy it with actual money. It’s a premium type of currency akin to those of Platinum in Warframe or Silver in Destiny 2

There are various packs of Caliber you can buy for varying amounts of money. In US dollars, these are the amounts you can get per pack:

  • 250 Caliber: $4.99 USD
  • 520 Caliber (500 + 20 bonus): $9.99 USD
  • 1,060 Caliber (1,000 + 60 bonus): $19.99 USD
  • 2,750 Caliber (2,500 + 250 bonus): $49.99 USD
  • 2,920 Caliber (3,500 + 420 bonus): $69.99 USD
  • 5,759 Caliber (5,000 + 750 bonus): $99.99 USD

Of course, the more you spend, the higher bonus you get per pack.

Can you get free Caliber in The First Descendant?

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like you can acquire Caliber for free in The First Descendant. Luckily, if you grind enough in the game, you can be quite powerful. That way, this doesn’t become a pay-to-win situation.

The only things you may be missing out on if you take a whole free route in The First Descendant are the cosmetics and anything tied to the Battle Pass. Even then, you will still be off just fine without it. It’s just a matter of whether you want to sink money into the game to speed things up or give your characters different looks.

Can you get Caliber through the Battle Pass?

You can get Caliber through the Battle Pass in The First Descendant. However, the amount is lower than that for which you bought it. The initial price for the Pass is 500, while you only make 300 back (granted that you complete it before the pre-season or season ends).
