Spore gets web-based 2D creature creator

Who wants to launch pesky gaming software when you can just get the job done in a browser? Electronic Arts understands where you’re coming from — you want to be able to create a Spore creature in the same place that you check your email and download your porn. 

Introducing the Spore Creature Creator 2D, a Flash-based application that features 250 some-odd body parts to design your own unique monster-pet-thing. The program offers the ability to start a creature from scratch, or import from the massive Sporepedia. Once finished, you can embed the little bastard on your Facebook, or terrorize your friends with it by way of email.
