How PvP works in Palworld and how to find the Arena

Time to find out who has the best Pals

One of the most exciting additions to Palworld with the Sakurajima update is the PvP Arena, allowing players to take on friends on the same server to see who comes out on top. If you’re wondering how PvP works in Palworld, I’ve got you covered.

Before you can enter the Arena in Palworld, you’ll need to find it. Considering the size of the Arena compared to the rest of the map, it can be hard to figure out. The Survival Guide describes the Arena as a “remote island in the desert region”, but considering the length of the desert coastline, that’s not exactly helpful.

Where is the PvP Arena in Palworld?

It turns out that the PvP Arena entrance is located to the south of the Dessicated Desert, and the easiest way to get there is by heading to the Eastern Wild Island fast travel point. Once there, hop on either a flying or swimming mount and travel north east.

Thankfully, there is a fast travel point to unlock on the island itself once you get there, so you won’t have to make this journey every time you want to dive into some PvP battles.

You’ll be able to travel to the Arena island and unlock the fast travel point whether you’re playing single player or multiplayer, but you won’t be able to access PvP unless you’re playing on a multiplayer server. Trying to access the Arena on a single player game results in a notification telling you as such.

Once you’ve entered the PvP arena, you’ll be able to select one of the Pals from your current party to be your main fighter, and two further Pals to be your back-up plan. These three pals will then enter into combat against your opponent’s chosen Pals.

Don’t worry about using items or Pals dying during PvP, once the battle is over everything will be restored to its previous state. This means that even if you lose, your Pals will not need to spend some time in the Palbox to recover.
