If you’re new to Warzone or first-person shooter games in general, there can be a lot of phrases and acronyms that won’t make sense to you at first. One of those is TTK, but don’t worry if you’re lost, as I’m here to give you the answer.
FPS games have dominated the gaming world for years, and Call of Duty is without question one of, if not the biggest of them all. It’s no surprise then that it has a huge community of players, and has essentially created its own language among those who regularly play it.
If you’re new to the scene and see people talking about TTK, but just can’t figure out what it means, then I’ve got you covered.
What does TTK stand?
TTK in Warzone and other FPS games simply stands for “Time To Kill.”
TTK in Warzone explained
Knowing what it stands for is all well and good, but what does it actually mean? Well, Time To Kill is exactly what it sounds likeāhow long it takes to kill an enemy from the moment you fire your weapon. Therefore, you want to use guns that have a low TTK as they’ll be the quickest at eliminating your opponents.
Now, it’s worth remembering that having the fastest fire rate doesn’t automatically mean it has a low TTK. You could use a gun with a high fire rate that deals very little damage, and its TTK would actually be slower than a gun with a low fire rate but high damage. Both fire rate and damage factor are included in the calculation.
What gun has the fastest TTK in Warzone right now?
The Warzone gun with the fastest TTK right now is the SOA Subverter at 688 milliseconds. This battle rifle does pack quite the punch, but if you can control the recoil, you’ll kill your enemies very quickly.
