Void Traces are an important resource in Warframe because of their use in helping you get Prime parts, but also crafting Dragon Keys. Corrupted mods are important, so don’t overlook them because of their drawback from a big benefit.

How to get Void Traces in Warframe

To get Void Traces in Warframe, you must open Relics during Void Fissures. This doesn’t mean just equipping it and entering one of those missions; it means that you have to collect ten Reactants during a mission.

Upon collecting ten Reactants, you’ll gain somewhere between five to thirty Void Traces. That aspect cannot be controlled. You must also complete the mission you opened your Relic in to get the rewards.

At the end of the mission, if you have other teammates, you can select one reward from your collective reward pool. If another player chooses your reward, you are given five additional Traces. For every teammate, they give you an additional five, meaning you can get 15 extra per run on top of what you got from the mission.

The Traces you get from a mission can also be increased based on a Smeeta Kavat’s Charm ability and resource boosters. This is important if you want to farm a lot in the long run.

Additionally, you can earn Void Traces from the Granum Void on Corpus Ship missions, though it isn’t the most reliable. You can also get five Traces per Aya when traded with Varzia Dax in Maroo’s Bazaar, though it’s also not a good tradeoff.

Best Void Traces farm in Warframe

The best way to farm Void Traces in Warframe is to speedrun fast Relic missions like Exterminate, Capture, and Rescue. It’s hard to manipulate the amount you get, so that’s why if you just spam missions, your overall Trace count will go up significantly with some upticks in the event that you do get 30 in one run.

It’s also important to run a Smeeta Kavat that has the Charm ability so you can increase the chances of getting more per run. Pair that with a resource booster (not Drop Chance) and you can easily make upwards of 50 to 100 Void Traces in one mission.
