Where to find and kill a Tusk Thumper Doma in Warframe

Don't trip!

The Tusk Thumper Doma is the strongest variant of the Grineer roaming tank enemies in Warframe. Unlike the Tusk Thumpinā€™ challenge in Nightwave, the Walk Without Rhythm one tasks you to kill the Doma variant in the Plains of Eidolon.

If you are having trouble spawning Tusk Thumper Doma specifically, hereā€™s how.

Tusk Thumper Doma locations in Warframe

To spawn and find the Tusk Thumper Doma in Warframe, the enemy level in the Plains of Eidolon has to be around level 40 and higher. They also only spawn in the mornings, being the counterpart of the Eidolons found at night.

So, to get the areaā€™s enemies at that level, itā€™s best to play a high-tier bounty. To reliably get them to spawn, you should start up a Tier 5 bounty from Konzu. Play through it during the daytime on the Plains. After each completed stage of the bounty, explore a bit to see if it comes up.

Itā€™s best to encounter them when you arenā€™t actively in the middle of completing a stage of a bounty. They will require a lot of specific firepower to take down and they can destroy any sort of defense objectives easily because of the splash damage they can deal.

How to kill a Tusk Thumper Doma

To kill a Tusk Thumper Doma, you have to focus fire on its knees. Since itā€™s a quadruped robot, you have four targets to deal with. It acts similarly to its weaker counterparts, so use a hitscan weapon that is precise enough to hit these areas. Otherwise, this fight may drag on for a long time, or it may run away.

Also, you may want to use a mod setup that mitigates knockdowns from enemies. The most annoying part about fighting Tusk Thumpers is that they do this shockwave ability that knocks you down and sends you flying.

If you have a Necramech with a decently modded Arch-gun on it, the fight will be a lot easier. They are tanky and utilize the infinite ammo mechanic from Archwing missions when equipped.

Make sure you have enough time before it hits night because this thing will retreat after a certain amount of time.
