How to get the Gorgon Wraith in Warframe

A solid amount of dakka.

The Gorgon Wraith is a weapon that periodically becomes available to players in Warframe if they are to dedicate their efforts to the ongoing attacks from the Razorback Armada. It’s a decent automatic rifle that can pack a punch with the right build.

It even has weapon-specific mods that give it a more unique playstyle. Not to mention, it has an Incarnon Genesis adapter waiting to be used if you choose. But with that said, here’s how to get the Gorgon Wraith in Warframe.

How to get the Gorgon Wraith

To get the Gorgon Wraith, you must farm the Razorback Armada Assassination mission. Each successful run of the mission gives you a chance of giving you the Blueprint, Barrel, Receiver, and Stock.

The following are all the rewards for completing the Razorback Assassination mission:

ItemDrop Chance
Gorgon Wraith Blueprint18.97%
Gorgon Wraith Barrel18.97%
Gorgon Wraith Receiver18.97%
Gorgon Wraith Stock18.97%
Bore5.53%
Piercing Caliber5.53%
Breach Loader5.53%
Auger Strike5.53%
Magma Chamber1.01%
Searing Steel1.01%

Your chances are fairly high to get all the parts needed for the gun, but just like farming for Warframes, you may run into the problem of receiving duplicate parts.

This isn’t like other Assassination missions either. You require a resource called Cryptographic ALU to craft Razorback Ciphers to partake in the mission.

You’ll have to farm a good amount of these ALU from killing enemies in Railjack and Archwing missions. Since each Cipher requires four units per blueprint, you’re going to be doing a lot of Archwing.

If all that is too much of a hassle, you can trade for parts or buy them from other players for Platinum. The average price per Gorgon Wraith part is about five to ten Platinum. A whole set with the blueprint can cost you around 20 Platinum.

Gorgon Wraith or Prisma Gorgon?

With this elusive weapon now in your inventory and with other counterparts, it’s safe to say that the Prisma Gorgon is the better Gorgon. It has better Critical stats, so it can make use of Hunter Munitions and other crit-scaling mods.

It’s also better as an Incarnon over the other Gorgons, so keep that in mind when you want to invest materials into one of these guns.
