When does Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 261 come out?

JJK Chapter 261 will launch on May 26, 2024, at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET/12 a.m. JST. The release schedule has, fortunately, been on track, with only a few delays here and there. However, it isn’t clear how many chapters will be involved in this arc. It could be one of the last arcs in the saga, as the series has been slated for a 2024 conclusion.

What to expect in JJK 261

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 260 featured the return of our favorite bromance with Yuji Itadori and Aoi Todo. If you haven’t read this far, you should catch up first to avoid spoilers. 

Chapter 260 not only showcased the return of the bromance, but it also revealed Aoi Todo’s incredible resilience. Despite losing his left arm during the Shibuya Incident, he discovered a new method to use his Boogie Woogie technique, opting for a metal and wooden device to produce the same teleporting effect. 

The chapter took an unexpected turn when it ended with a surprise appearance. The legendary Satoru Gojo, believed to be dead after his fight with Sukuna, made a shocking return. This twist surely left fans with a lot of questions and anticipation for the next chapter. 

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 261 holds the promise of delving deeper into Gojo’s mysterious comeback, possibly revealing how he managed to survive. That is, if this is actually Gojo himself. The manga describes him as “a ghost of immense strength,” hinting at a phantom version. It wouldn’t be the first time a dead character takes on a new form, as we’ve seen with Suguru Geto. We won’t know for sure until Chapter 261 makes its debut.
