Call of Duty fans were delighted to see Rebirth Island return to Warzone in April 2024, but now fans are wondering if it will leave, and when it could disappear if true. That’s why we’ve put together everything we know about Warzone‘s Rebirth Island and its possible exit.
Rebirth Island made its triumphant return to Call of Duty‘s battle royale on April 3, and despite issues with audio, has been welcomed back with open arms. However, some players fear that Warzone‘s map rotation system will mean that it will disappear for months at a time, leaving us unable to play it.
Is Rebirth Island going to leave Warzone?
While it hasn’t been confirmed by Activision yet, we do expect that Rebirth Island will be included in the Warzone map rotation system.
That means it could be swapped out for Fortune’s Keep, Ashika Island, or Vondel. This process also sees modes moved in and out of rotation, with Solo, Duos, Trios, and Quads all on the chopping list.
When could Rebirth Island leave Warzone?
We don’t know for sure, but we know that Rebirth Island won’t leave until at least May 23, when the next rotation is set to be announced. The most likely scenario is that it exits the game on May 29 when Warzone Season 4 starts, but we’ll be sure to update this article when we get official confirmation.
Don’t panic when it does eventually exit though, as the rotation system means it’s very likely to return before the next CoD game releases in autumn 2024. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to run Rebirth Island before the rumored return of Verdansk, that’s for sure.
