How to get Resplendent Sparks in Diablo 4

To get Resplendent Sparks in Diablo 4, you have to take on the endgame activities that you can start to play on World Tier 4: Torment. These are the following things you can do to get this item.

Complete the current seasonā€™s quest line

By completing this seasonā€™s quest line, youā€™ll be given one Resplendent Spark. Hold onto it as you will need four of these to craft a Uber Unique item with an Alchemist.

Beat Uber Lilith for the first time

Uber Lilith is accessible once you reach World Tier 4 with your seasonal character. Sheā€™ll act very similarly to her variant as the final boss in the campaign. The only difference is that she will be at level 100 and many of her attacks are one-shots. Prepare a strong build and learn her attack patterns.

Once you defeat her, sheā€™ll reward you with one Resplendent Spark. She will not drop additional ones, but her drop tables do consist of Uber Uniques that can be broken down to get more.

Beat the new ā€œTormentedā€ versions of Uber bossesĀ

Just like Uber Lilith, there are Uber versions of the summonable bosses starting from World Tier 3. However, you have to be at Tier 4 and have three times of the needed materials to summon these bosses. Youā€™ll also need to spend three Stygian Stones per summon.

These bosses only drop one Resplendent Spark upon beating them the first time. However, they can also drop other Uber Unique items that can be broken down to get more.

Salvage Uber Uniques

As mentioned with the drops from Uber bosses, you can break down specific Uber Unique items to get more Resplendent Sparks. For every item you break down, you get one Spark per salvage. These are the items that give you Sparks:

  • Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander
  • Andarielā€™s Visage
  • Harlequin Crest
  • Melted Heart of Selig
  • Ring of Starless Skies
  • Tyraelā€™s Might

What are Resplendent Sparks used for?

Resplendent Sparks are used to craft Uber Unique items in Diablo 4.Ā

Letā€™s say you are a Sorcerer trying to get the Ring of Starless Skies. You farm Uber bosses over and over, but you keep getting the Doombringer. You can then salvage all of the Doombringers that you got from farming to get these Sparks.

You can then use these Sparks at an Alchemist and craft that Ring you were trying to get. This process is similar to the Transmutation system when youā€™re trying to get the various Malignant Body parts to summon the Echo of Varshan. The grinding time will be cut significantly, allowing you to take on various activities like The Pit, Nightmare Dungeons, and other Tormented Uber bosses.

What are Uber Unique items?

Uber Unique items extremely rare items that are similar to normal Unique items. They share the same rarity and color, but are a lot more powerful.Ā

For example, the Harlequin Crest is considered to be one of the most powerful items in the game. It has cooldown reduction, resource generation, and a universal stat boost that can fit in almost any build for all classes. It rightfully takes the spot for being an Uber Unique.
