How to get the Tenet Glaxion in Warframe

Cold as ice.

It looks like weā€™re getting new Lich and Sister weapons after all. It’s a must-have with the Tenet Glaxion now in the rotation of Sister weapons in Warframe. Its normal and Vandal counterparts are really fun and useful to have if youā€™re a beam weapon user.

How to get the Tenet Glaxion in Warframe

To get the Tenet Glaxion in Warframe, there are a few prerequisites that you must meet. Hereā€™s a handy checklist thatā€™ll help you get this weapon without running into any roadblocks:

  • Complete The War Within quest
  • Complete Call of the Tempestarii quest
  • Be Mastery Rank 5
  • Have a Zenith Granum Crown
  • Have at least one type of every Requiem Mod with at least one charge
  • Have a decent Railjack and versatile endgame loadout

With all this out of the way, just enter any Corpus mission where youā€™re on a ship. The best place to do this is in Roche, Phobos. Itā€™s a low-level Exterminate mission. That you can clear in minutes. However, what weā€™re looking for are those Golden Hands throughout the mission.

Find one of these and spend your Zenith Crown. While in the Granum Void, you have to at least reach 25 kills. You do not have to get all 75.Ā

Upon completing at least one objective in the Granum Void, Vara Glarios will talk about a ā€œCandidateā€ which means that your Corpus Lich has spawned. Find them and take them down like a Capture Target.Ā

Pay close attention before interacting with them, though. You want to make sure that itā€™s the Tenet Glaxion youā€™re looking for. Once you see the weapon above the enemyā€™s head, then perform the Requiem Mercy to move on to the hunting process. Otherwise, ignore them, complete the mission, and do everything above again.

When you finally have a Sister with the weapon you want, youā€™ll then start at Venus. Go into any blue node and take down all the robotic Hounds that come up with your Requiem Finisher. Each Finisher will contribute towards a bar. Once that bar fills up, you can see which Requiem mod you need to match the pattern.

Your Sister will also have a Rage Meter that will determine the likelihood of them spawning in your mission. They all have three health bars. With each bar hitting zero, you have to perform a finisher on them. This is where the Requiem mods come into play.

Only perform the finisher move if you have a Requiem mod symbol already unveiled. You have a one in three chance of getting it right, but at least itā€™ll also narrow down the pattern.

Once you have all three symbols unveiled, now itā€™s just a matter of enraging your Sister, getting them to spawn, and using the correct Requiem sequence until they flee to a Corpus Proxima in Railjack.

Having a strong loadout is important, though. With a lot of trial and error in this, your Sister will gain levels, and so will the missions. For every failed attempt, theyā€™ll flee to another planet, raising the enemy level up to level 100 when capped at Level 5. You do not want to reach this.

This also applies to the Railjack showdown which is why, in the checklist, you want the versatile loadout.Ā

If you chased your Sister into a Corpus Proxima mission, the last thing you need to do is play the Railjack portion of the mission, go into the ship, and play it like an Assassination mission. Instead of dying, you will interact with them like a capture target and decide their fate.

To get your Tenet Glaxion, Vanquish them. You will not get the weapon if you convert them.

Best Progenitor element for the Tenet Glaxion

Since the Tenet Glaxion is a cold weapon, there are two good elements to create this weapon with. Go for either a Toxin Progenitor or a Radiation one. Toxin will automatically combine with the Cold status, making this a Viral weapon. Radiation is good against many armored types of enemies and has the crowd control aspect to it.Ā

These are the frames with the following elements:

Toxin Progenitors

  • Atlas
  • Dagath
  • Ivara
  • Khora
  • Nekros
  • Nidus
  • Oberon
  • Saryn

Radiation Progenitors

  • Ash
  • Equinox
  • Garuda
  • Loki
  • Mirage
  • Nyx
  • Octavia
  • Qorvex
  • Voruna

Prime variants are in the same category as their base counterparts.
