Centuria Chapter 5 release date and time

Chapter 5 of Centuria will release on May 5 at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET, for English-reading audiences. It’s a simultaneous release with the Japanese version, so you won’t need to worry too much about spoilers.

Centuria is still fairly early on, with only four chapters before this. It’s always uncertain how manga series will fare on the turbulent seas of popularity, but seeing as Centuria is a Jump+ pick-up from a former Tatsuki Fujimoto assistant (on Goodbye, Eri, specifically) and it’s already ranking high on MangaPlus, the series seems set up for success.

Where to read Centuria Chapter 5

For English-reading audiences, MangaPlus will be your go-to app for reading Centuria. Thankfully, it’s a solid app that I already use for most other series I follow. Additionally, rather than the three-chapter limit that other series have on MangaPlus, Centuria has a six-chapter buffer.

This means that the latest six chapters will be available to read free on the app, and once the seventh arrives, the sixth-latest chapter will be hidden. Still, we’re only on Chapter 5 of Centuria, so you’ve got some time to catch up. As for what we can expect? Well, read on, if you’re fully caught up. Fair warning, we will be discussing full spoilers for the story so far ahead.

What to expect in Centuria Chapter 5

Julian and Diana have found a peaceful life on the shore, in a village with the knight Angvall and Titi. The four have formed a bit of a pod, caring for the baby Diana, and Julian has even found new purpose in working and living in this serene hideaway.

Still, Centuria is a dark fantasy manga. That evil-looking goat in Chapter 3 should have set off some warning bells for anyone who saw The VVitch. More deals with devils may be afoot, and all the calm serves only to heighten tension over what new tragedy could befall our Hero With 100 Lives.
