It’s safe to say that there are many festivals and events across the year in Stardew Valley. Some last for multiple days, while others take place on one specific day. There are even events that aren’t signposted and can offer unique items.

From the Flower Dance in Spring to the Feast of the Winter Star in Winter, there’s always some kind of event or festival to look forward to in Stardew Valley. Most of these festivals will stop time completely, but the mini-festivals added in the 1.6 update have forgone this feature, so you still need to be aware of the time and your other responsibilities.
There are also things that happen at specific times that have nothing to do with events or festivals, such as finding the Leprechaun Hat or unlocking the railroad area, which happens on the same day in every playthrough. If you’re looking to plan ahead, I’ve got every Stardew Valley event outlined in calendars below, along with their times and details to start.

Collect eggs in order to win a prize (Straw Hat for the first win). Strawberry Seeds available from Pierre’s Stall for 100 Gold each. Time stops during this event.
Must have repaired the Bus to access the Desert Festival. Multiple stalls and activities. Spouse Weapons can be purchased. Time does not stop during this event.
Make sure to have at least one Iridium quality item to add into the Potluck Soup for a favorable result and increased friendship with all villagers. Time stops during this event.

Extra forageables on the beach

Not signposted. A chance to stock up on the usual beach forageables.
Not signposted. Catch Trout in the lake in Cindersap Forest to get Golden Tags, which can be exchanged for exclusive prizes. Time does not stop during this event.

Dance of the Moonlight Jellies
The Beach
10 p.m. – 12 a.m.
Villagers gather at the beach to witness the Jellyfish approaching the shore. Time stops during this event.
