Well, the Atari mod is useful. Modding an SNES is just pure blasphemy. More on that one in a second.
The Atari 2600 converted into an iPod docking station was made by Byron Casebier. He gutted a broken iPod clock radio and stuffed it into a Atari 2600. It’s actually pretty neat looking and San Francisco hipsters are sure to love it. (via Boing Boing Gadgets)
The next mod was made by quangDX and DuPPs and is disgusting. How can anyone molest the best system ever made? Okay, actually, it’s pretty cool.
The SNES guts were replaced with an Acer Aspire One netbook and the Super Mario World cartridge was modded into a slot-loading optical drive! Neat! The Eject button on the system ejects CDs and the SNES controllers were rewird to take in USB devices. The circuitboard was also mounted with LEGOs.
You can see how the entire thing was made over on Asobitech. (via GossipGamers, Gizmodo)
