How to get Black Knife Tiche summon in Elden Ring

The mimic tear has been really silent since she climbed the ranks.

When you look at the more popular (or strongest) Spirit summons in Elden Ring, youā€™ll often see Black Knife Tiche being a top-tier pick. In any case, if you want to know where to find her summon, hereā€™s how.

Where to find the Black Knife Tiche summon in Elden Ring

Black Knife Tiche is acquired after defeating Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader at the Ringleagerā€™s Evergaol in Liurnia of the Lakes. This area is located on top of those tall cliffs south of the Converted Tower.

To even get up that part of the map, you have to progress through Ranni the Witchā€™s questline up until you defeat Astel, Naturalborn of the Void. After the boss fight, proceed forward past the Site of Grace to find an elevator you can take up. Itā€™ll take you to the Deep Ainsel Well.

From here, youā€™ll exit to the Moonlight Altar, the cliffside area that was not reachable until now. Luckily, there is a Site of Grace just outside of the Deep Ainsel Well for safety purposes. From here, follow the path on the map above to reach the Ringleaderā€™s Evergaol.

Be prepared for a tough fight since Alecto hits very hard and is very fast. Since sheā€™s an Evergaol boss, you canā€™t summon a Spirit or another player to assist you.

Why is Black Knife Tiche one of the best Spirit Ashes?

While not as powerful as the now-nerfed Mimic Tear, Black Knife Tiche can hold her own against the strongest enemies in the game. She has an ability that reduces enemy health, which can help with mobbing or boss fighting, making her very versatile.

Also, since she takes after Alecto, sheā€™s very agile while taking enemy aggro. This makes her survivability top tier. Itā€™s arguable if sheā€™s even better than the Mimic Tear, just from the fact that most enemies have trouble hitting her.
