How to get Fenglope in Palworld

Double jump makes all the difference.

Fenglope is, arguably, one of the best early to midgame mounts in Palworld. Not only is it pretty quick with a speed stat of 1050, but it can also double jump and you’ll take no fall damage while riding it, even from extreme heights.

One of the best things about Fenglope, though, is how many different ways you can encounter and capture one. There are a whole host of ways to get your hands on this sought-after Pal.

First and foremost, you’ll need to be level 26 before you can unlock the Fenglope Saddle via the Technology Ladder, and then you’ll need the following ingredients to craft it at a Pal Workbench:

  • 30 Leather
  • 30 Fiber
  • 20 Ingots
  • 20 Cloth
  • 40 Paldium Fragments

Where to find Fenglope in the wild

There are a few ways to find Fenglope in the wild, but the best guaranteed way to find one without much of a hunt is by heading to the Ascetic Falls fast travel point and then making your way to Falls Mineshaft (marked with an X in the image above) behind the waterfall to the West, where you’ll find Alpha Fenglope.

As a level 25 Alpha, it’s not too difficult to beat and you should be able to capture it pretty easily using a Mega Sphere. I know from experience that you can use a basic Pal Sphere, but it takes a few tries, so take plenty with you.

Fenglope also spawns in a couple of places; you’ll find them roaming around the Southern beaches of Mount Obsidian as well as on Wildlife Sanctuary 3, both circled in the above image. Those at the Sanctuary are likely to be higher level and you’ll need a flying mount in order to make your way there.

How to breed Fenglope

As with most low level Pals, there are a whole host of potential breeding pairs that will result in a Fenglope. If you’re looking for increased speed in your resulting Fenglope, pair up some parent Pals that have either Swift or Motivational Leader passive traits.

Here’s a few easy to manage parent couples for Fenglope:

  • Mau + Cinnamon
  • Rushoar + Dinossom
  • Lifmunk + Grintale
  • Eikthyrdeer + Galeclaw
  • Direhowl + Melpaca
