How to find Bushi in Palworld

Ingots are a guaranteed drop

Bushi, the Samurai-esque fire type Pal, boasts level 3 Lumbering skill and level 2 Kindling skill, so it’s a good addition to any base. More importantly, Bushi drops one of the most needed resources in the game — Ingots.

Ingots are needed for everything from Mega Spheres to Weaponry, so if there’s one Pal you should go hunting pretty early into the game, it’s Bushi.

Where to find Bushi

There are two locations to find Bushi – the southern beach area of Obsidian Mountain, around the Mount Obsidian Anubis Statue fast travel point, and the much more dangerous Wildlife Sanctuary 2 on the Eastern side of the map.

If you’re going to go looking for Bushi, I’d suggest the prior, because if you head to the Wildlife Sanctuary, you’re likely to end up with a Wanted Level. However, if you’re determined to go to this small island, the closest fast travel point is Deep Sand Dunes.

You can also head to the Sealed Realm of the Swordmaster and go into the Dungeon to face the level 23 Alpha Bushi. It’s not too hard of a fight, but make sure to bring some Water element Pals along for the ride.

How to breed Bushi

As with most Pals, you can breed Bushi fairly easily by pairing up two parent Pals within the Breeding Farm and giving them Cake. Thankfully, Bushi is one Pal with a long list of possible parent pairs, with some that are pretty achievable fairly early on.

Here’s a selection of easy to manage pairings that can result in a Bushi:

  • Rushoar and Cryolinx
  • Eikthyrdeer and Elizabee
  • Digtoise and Sweepa
  • Direhowl and Helzephyr
  • Surfent and Katress

Bushi can also be hatched from any Large Scorching Egg that you find during your travels round Palpagos.

If you’re looking for these, head to Mount Obsidian and you’ll find Scorching Eggs littered all over the area. If you find any Large ones, you might just end up with a Bushi.

Bushi raid

This one is entirely up to chance, so it’s not worth waiting around for if you want to get your hands on some Bushi, but there is a base raid which features a group of seven Bushi. During one such raid, I ended up with 30 or so ingots which came in very handy.
