Is Elden Ring Cross Platform?

Can players on other platforms be summoned to your world?

Elden Ring is a hard game, and youā€™d be doing a disservice to yourself as a gamer if you didnā€™t at least try it out. However, the best way to ease yourself into a game like this is if you have someone to play with in a cooperative setting. With that said, is Elden Ring cross platform?

Unfortunately, you canā€™t play Elden Ring with other players on different consoles. So, if youā€™re trying to play cooperatively with another friend, you both have to be on the same console realm. Though, not all hope is lost.

If you are on an Xbox Series console, you can still pair up with other players who are still on Xbox One. The same applies if you are on a PlayStation 5 and someone is on a PS4 and vice versa.

It does not matter if you are trying to summon a guest for PvP or cooperative play. It also doesnā€™t matter if you are looking to duel other players in the Colosseum. There is no way to play with people on other platforms despite the activity you choose to play online.

Unless youā€™re on PC, you are also never going to have that chance of running into ā€œLet Me Solo Herā€. There are some copycats running around out there, but the experience may not be the same.

Furthermore, a game like Elden Ring can take you dozens of hours to complete. For newer players or those who like to play these types of games cooperatively, you better hope your friends are in the same console realm as you. Otherwise, that journey through The Lands Between may feel quite lonely.

Plus, you should know that if you do play cooperatively with other players in this game, you run the chance of being invaded by other players. They are more than likely going to have some kind of crazy build that will cheese you!
