How to fix Error Niamey Logan ‘Your Data is Corrupt’ in CoD MW3 and Warzone

Just press YES.

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, there isn’t much worse than having your hard work and effort nullified by an error or corruption that you had nothing to do with. In fact, it’s probably one of the worst feelings one can have in a video game — I would know, I had a Ray Gun vanish on me for no reason!

It would appear a great many gamers have been presented with an error message that tells them their progress — their ranks, unlocks, everything — must be reset in order to proceed. This error message is accompanied by an error code: NIAMEY – LOGAN, which makes things even more confusing. But, there’s a silver lining: This error is nothing to worry about, and we’re going to tell you why.

How to fix Error: NIAMEY – LOGAN in Call of Duty MW3

I know it’s going to take a lot for you to believe me here, but if you’re presented with the error message that reads: “Your data is corrupt or didn’t download properly. You must reset your rank and unlocks to continue. (Reason: NIAMEY – LOGAN),” you need to take a breath and select “YES.”

It can be terrifying thinking about the progress you might lose, but according to the official Call of Duty Updates account on Twitter, the error message is being displayed incorrectly and is not to be believed.

“Players logging into Season 1 may see an incorrect error message stating their data is corrupt,” the post reads. “Rest assured that your rank, unlocks, and purchases are not lost, although Loadouts, customization, and certain settings may be reset.”

So — don’t panic, take a breath, and select ‘YES’ if/when presented with error code NIAMEY – LOGAN.
