Where to find the Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Church Easter Egg

This is the church and this is the steeple.

The Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is a bit intense. There’s something about having a half hour to wander a zombie apocalypse and then try to catch a chopper out that just gives me anxiety. However, that doesn’t stop me from having a grand time.

Part of the allure is that I don’t always have to focus on survival. Zombies offers alternatives and has several Easter Eggs to track down. While he might be a little creepy, I’m happy to spend time with Mister Peeks, even if it’s at a church.

Finding MW3 Zombies’ Mister Peeks at Church

This challenge might be one of the more difficult ones as it requires some precise grenade throwing. We’re heading to the church southeast of the Orlov Military Base in Sector I3. Also, note this challenge specifically requires a Semtex Grenade.

Once there, from the front of the church, go left. There is a larger headstone at the corner of the walking path. Stand atop it and look at the window in the central tower. You’ll need to lob the Semtex Grenade over the outcropping and into the window. The trick is to have your reticle about halfway up the left slope of the roof. If you’ve nailed the shot, you’ll hear the familiar scream of the Reward Rift opening up.

The church is in a Tier I zone, so you should be fine to clear out any stragglers before shooting your shot. Just make sure to keep a Semtex Grenade or two in your inventory. As always, if you’re playing with others in the session and they complete the challenge first, you won’t have the opportunity to do so. So, turn off the party fill option from the Zombies menu and go get it.
