Nintendo certainly took the cries of fans into consideration when they said last year’s keynote ignored the hardcore gamer. More or less every game they announced this year seemed as if it was aimed directly at people who have been long dedicated to Nintendo since far before the Wiimote was even an idea in someone’s mind. Cheers, Nintendo!
One game we only got a brief glimpse at was Rock N’ Roll Climber, which challenges the player to use the Wiimote, nunchuk and balance board to “climb” a virtual wall. Once you are able to scale the entire wall, you grab a guitar and rock out. Wait … what?
We know literally nothing else about this WiiWare title other than this scarse info, but now that it’s been formally announced I expect we’ll hear more very soon. Very odd, Nintendo. Not sure what to think just yet, but last time I checked the last thing I want to do after rockclimbing is crank out some jams on the electric guitar. Maybe if I take steroids first.
