Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is a new take on the 2011 game of the same name. It comes with new visuals, an updated campaign, and a host of multiplayer maps and game modes. If you’re a hardcore multiplayer fan or are moving on from the campaign, now is the time to show off those running and gunning skills online. Here are all the confirmed maps and game modes coming to the 2023 edition of Call of Duty: MW3.
For longtime CoD fans, the map list will feel intimately familiar. MW3 includes 16 core maps from Modern Warfare 2 (2009). Fan favorites such as Rust, Afghan, and Estate are getting updated and enhanced with changes that can take advantage of modern features such as mantling and Tactical Sprint. There will be 20 maps at launch, with new core maps added every season. The maps are sorted by modes, split among classic 6v6, Ground War, Invasion, and War.
