How to Participate in the Aetherium Wars Event in Honkai: Star Rail

To participate in the Aetherium Wars event, players must complete the Trailblaze Mission “Jarilo-VI – Future Market (II).” This mission serves as a prerequisite to unlock the event in the game’s main menu. After completing these missions, players can access the Aetherium Wars event and begin their journey to collect and battle with Aether Spirits.

The Aetherium Wars event consists of two main parts: Collection and Battle. Let’s explore each part in detail:

Collection

In the Collection phase, players aim to gather Aether Spirits, which can be obtained by battling them. As players progress through the event, they will have the opportunity to explore different areas, complete challenges, and emerge victorious in battles to collect a variety of Aether Spirits.

Battle

Once players have assembled a collection of Aether Spirits, they can form a team and engage in battles against other players. Players choose three spirits from their collection to battle an Aether Spirit, each with unique abilities. The battles are turn-based, where teams take turns selecting Aether Spirits to attack until one team defeats all the opponent’s spirits.

Types of Aether Spirits

Aether Spirits in Honkai: Star Rail’s Aetherium Wars event comes in three distinct types: Mechanical, Humanoid, and Aberrant. Each type has its own strengths and weaknesses, adding a strategic element to the gameplay:

  • Humanoids: Humanoid spirits are good against Mechanicals.
