This Friday is the long-awaited release of Resident Evil 5. For those who flip their, uh, “lids” (and by lids, I mean s**t) for the Resident Evil series, especially the Resident Evil 4-style action-fun-time shooty-shooty, Resident Evil 5 has been a long time coming.
And what can be better than a game that lets you shoot a plethora of multi-racial zombies? How about a whole night of celebrating a game that lets you shoot a plethora of multi-racial zombies? Which is exactly what you, me, and a whole slew of Bay Area-based Dtoid community members get to experience this Thursday, March 12, 8 pm to midnight, in Union Square, San Francisco.
According to the delightful presser, there’s gonna be loads of interesting stuff going on, such as live DJs, free prizes and swag, a bunch of Capcom devs and PR dudes, and even that announcement for a new game from Capcom, which is in no way, shape or form, a Resident Evil game for the Wii. No, it couldn’t be that at all.
Anyway, so if you’re on the Best West Coast, stop on by and hang out. I swear, it’ll be hella cool! And by hella cool, I mean stuff will happen. And by stuff, I mean a marketing blitz to make you buy more stuff. Hooray!
