There are plenty of game awards ceremonies around, but few are as viewed as The Game Awards. Last year, the show earned itself a record-setting 103 million global livestreams. The nominees are selected by a jury consisting of over a hundred media publications and influencers around the world, and winners are decided by a combination of jury and fan votes.

You’ll have to wait a little longer to discover which games have been nominated and for further information regarding ticket sales. With as many massive releases as there have been this year, competition is sure to be tight in all categories.

In 2022, Elden Ring won four awards, including Game of the Year while Stray nabbed two awards, including Best Indie Debut Game. God of War Ragnarok had 11 nominations, the most of any game, and it had 6 wins, including Best Narrative, Best Score and Music, and Best Performance.
