How to get Mother Tokens in Warframe

Mother Tokens are all the rage in Warframe, especially during the Nights of Naberus event. When the event is ongoing, they can be used to purchase special items that are otherwise more difficult to get. The rest of the time, they can be traded to Grandmother for that all-important Entrati Standing.

How to get Mother Tokens in Warframe

There are two ways to get Mother Tokens in Warframe:

1. Completing Mother’s Bounties and earning them as rewards.
2. Trading resources to Grandmother in exchange for Mother Tokens.

How to complete Bounties for Mother

You can visit Mother in the Necralisk on Deimos. She will be roughly in the center of the building. Speak with Mother, and you will get a range of Bounties to pick from. These will award you with a range of Tokens, and other resources, depending on the level that you do.

• Tier 1 – Level 5 to 15 – 12 Mother Tokens
• Tier 2 – Level 15 to 25 – 36 Mother Tokens
• Tier 3 – Level 25 to 30 – 42 Mother Tokens
• Tier 4 – Level 30 to 40 – 81 Mother Tokens
• Tier 5 – Level 40 to 60 – 118 Mother Tokens
• Tier 5 (Steel Path) – Level 100 – 150 Mother Tokens
• Isolation Vault Tier 1 – 10
• Isolation Vault Tier 2 – 15
• Isolation Vault Tier 3 – 20

For most players, Tier 5 is the best time versus reward investment to make. You should be able to fly through the missions with a dedicated group and pick up 118 Mother Tokens every 5 minutes or so. The missions consist of multiple stages of simple objectives you must complete. The important aspect will always be strong enemy wave clear, so equip yourself to deal with the Infested, and you will be fine.

Trading Tokens at Grandmother

If you visit Grandmother near the main spawn-in area you can choose the “Mend the Family” option from her menu and trade in random resources for different family tokens. For example, in the image above, 27 Dagonic, 57 Ferment Bladder, and 18 Dendrite Blastoma would get me 3 Mother Tokens.

This is an okay way to pick up a few extra tokens, but it’s definitely not the most efficient. You can farm these kinds of resources while playing through Bounties, and they can act like a bonus income gained from the same play time. Also, don’t forget there are plenty of changes coming to Warframe over the coming weeks, including a full rework of Companions.
