FFXIV 6.5: How to get Athletikos Cloth and make Martial Artist’s Gear

Crafters rejoice, the Final Fantasy XIV 6.5 Growing Light update brings new recipes for glamour galore. If the Tactical PVP gear isn’t your thing, perhaps you’ll dig the Martial Artist set in this latest update.

In this guide, you’ll find the recipes for the new FFXIV Martial Artist’s gear, including both Vest, Slops, and Pumps. Plus, we’ll fill you in on where to get all of those new crafting materials. So whether you’re here to make quick Gil or make an outfit of your own, we’ve got you.

How to get the FFXIV Martial Artist’s Vest and more

If you’re looking to craft these recipes yourself, you’ll need a Leatherwork and Weaver at level 90. Also, it’s not enough to just have your crafters at cap, make sure you meet the stat requirements, too.

The recipe requirements recommend 3,700 Craftsmanship, but for reference, I have 4,041. With 4,007 Control and 608 CP, it’s a little overkill, but you’ll want to make sure you’ve got enough to finish your craft. Anyway, with that done, here’s the Patch 6.5 Martial Artist gear recipes:

As a note, I was only able to confirm the Ophiotauroskin Maps reward Athletikos Cloth. While I’ve seen an in-game claim Kumbhiraskin Maps dropped the cloth, I haven’t been able to confirm as much.
