How to beat all three new Local Legends in Genshin Impact 4.1

And get three new achievements.

Local Legends are minibosses in Genshin Impact. They can be found at various locations in the overworld in Fontaine. Theyā€™re a bit stronger than most enemies, and defeating them grants you a unique achievement for each Local Legend. Hereā€™s how to find and defeat all three new Local Legends that were added in Genshin Impact Version 4.1!

Automated Supercomputing Field Generator

The Automated Supercomputing Field Generator can be found to the north of Fontaine, in a small dirt clearing north of some ruins.

This miniboss is a type of Arithmetic Enhancer Mek, albeit a bit larger than average and with some unique abilities. For one, it generates a beefy Geo shield and deals hefty amounts of AoE Geo damage. Avoid its smaller AoE circles as best as you can. When it starts generating waves of energy around itself, gravity becomes weaker, allowing you to jump over the waves and execute Plunging Attacks.

Try to bring a Claymore or Geo team to help deal with its shield. Zhongli, Noelle, and Itto teams work well here.

Luachra the Brilliant

Luachra can be found underwater just above the entrance to the Millennial Pearl Seahorseā€™s cave. There are some jellyfish around whose abilities you can steal to fight it.

This oversized Sea Cherub will cycle through three attacks. It first summons several bubbles around itself and throws them at you after a short delay. These bubbles donā€™t track you and can be dodged by swimming to the side. It then creates a single larger bubble and sends it after you. This one tracks you to some degree, so you may have a harder time dodging it. The last attack is a windup and dash towards you. When itā€™s at low health, itā€™ll follow up its first dash with another dash.

During the windup for these attacks, Luachra will glow purple. Hitting it while itā€™s glowing deals significantly more damage than hitting it normally. You can also use a large metal column in the area as cover, keeping it between yourself and the enemy. With the right positioning, the column can block every single attack.

Yseut

Yseut is located due west of the Statue of the Seven in the Liffey Region. She walks back and forth along a dirt path lined with torches.

Yseut is a Frost Operative. Some of her attacks will mark you with a Bond of Life, which absorbs the healing you receive until it is cleared. She also applies a health drain effect on your character, further exacerbating the lack of healing. You can use any team to defeat her, as long as youā€™re able to deal with her health drain mechanics. Try bringing a strong healer if you have one.
