How to unlock outfits in RE4 Remake Separate Ways DLC

Good luck with S+

Ready to make Ada look more alluring? Luis more lovely? Then maybe it’s time to throw those two a dress-up party and get them some new threads. Like with the base game, you can unlock new outfits for the characters of the RE4 Remake Separate Ways DLC. Some are locked behind the campaign, while others require a bit more effort on your part.

As an aside, the outfits you can unlock in the Separate Ways DLC are honestly superb. Ada can blast away bad guys while wearing a stunning Chinese dress, while Wesker gets in on the action with a clean all-black suit. Seriously, he looks like he stumbled out of The Matrix for the umpteenth time.

There are two different types of wearable gear in the game: Outfits and accessories. Accessories are available only for Ada, while all characters get access to at least one unique outfit. For Ada, you can mix and match her outfits and accessories and come up with the best Ganado-blasting attire.

Unlocking wearable items requires finishing certain in-game challenges, like completing requests. You also need to buy them using CP in the Extra Content Shop once unlocked. You can check your progress by going from the menu to Bonuses, Challenges, and choosing ‘Separate Ways‘.

For those looking to equip Ada with cute cat ears, prepare for the grind. You need to beat the game at least once to unlock Professional mode. And for S+ rank, you have to complete the mode in 2.5 hours with 10 or fewer saves. Best of luck.

It’s worth it, though. Equipping the Cat Ears on Ada rewards you with infinite ammo. You’ll be able to unleash all that Professional mode stress in the most ’80s-action-star way imaginable.
