Is Persona 5 Tactica multiplayer?

"Life Goes On" if the game is single-player only.

A Persona 5 Tactica multiplayer function would let you strategize with your fellow Phantom Thieves; and would absolutely rock. Is there a Persona 5 Tactica multiplayer mode?

As of the time of writing, there won’t be a multiplayer mode in this Persona 5 strategy RPG spin-off. It’s strictly single-player with no co-op or competitive modes in the game.

If you look at the official Steam page, the game only has the “single-player” tag.

There are some multiplayer games in the Persona series like the fighting game Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, but for the most part, you shouldn’t expect a co-op experience from this franchise. Even the Warriors-style take on the series Persona 5 Strikers is single-player, despite most Mosou games supporting split-screen co-op.

Atlus currently has no plans of bringing a multiplayer mode into the game. It’s a shame as a lot of people are likely playing it through Xbox Game Pass.

If you don’t mind a retro look, you might want to take a chance with Wargroove. This game specifically has a co-op campaign and is a spiritual successor to the Advance Wars series.

While it’s far from a JRPG-style game, Baldur’s Gate 3 is an excellent turn-based RPG that can be played with a friend. You’ll both take control of separate characters in a robust combat system. The story’s also riveting, just like a Persona game.
