Where to find TM 185 Lunge in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Sorry to bug you about it

While Bug-Type Pokemon typically get the short end of the stick, the move Lunge at least has a lot going for it. This Bug-Type attack has a respectable 80 Power, 100% accuracy, and lowers an enemy’s Attack stat by one stage. That’s a lot for one move, especially for any Attack-oriented Pokemon that can take advantage of it. Those playing Pokemon Scarlet & Violet can now find Lunge as TM 185, but only if they have access to The Teal Mask DLC.

For those playing The Teal Mask, you can find TM 185 Lunge in Kitakami. It’s to the south of Kitakami Hall, located on the eastern side of the map. Check the elevated grass area as pictured in the screenshot above, and you should see a yellow Pokeball on the ground. This indicates that you’ve found a TM, so go and pick it up. You should find Lunge here.

If you’re having trouble finding it, make sure you aren’t looking from too far up or too far away. The item may not appear on your screen until you’re a bit closer to it, though this hopefully shouldn’t present too much of an issue.

How to craft TM 185 Lunge in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

For those who want multiple copies of this TM, you can opt to craft it instead. To do this, you’ll need the following:

  • 5,000 LP
  • 3 Sewaddle Leaf
  • 3 Kricketot Shell

You’ll find the Pokemon you need right in Kitakami, so no need to return to Paldea to farm this one out. Remember, evolved Pokemon will still drop these same materials too, so feel free to take down any applicable monsters that you see. Happy farming!
