Aliens star and Ghostbusters leading lady Sigourney Weaver claims she was never offered a role in Terminal Reality’s upcoming Ghostbusters game, but the developers are claiming that she’s a dirty, dirty liar. According to the developer, Weaver turned down the role because she didn’t think it was a big deal, then later came to regret her decision.

Brendan Gross of Terminal Reality explained how Weaver was offered a part, but refused. However, once she realized that the game might turn out to be a big deal, even tempting Bill Murray to don a digital backpack and reprise his role, she wanted back in. By that point, however, it was too late and a new female lead was in place. She then raised a fist in anguish and screamed, “Curse you God, for making me this way!”

There is a lesson for us all in this. If you are ever offered a chance to appear in a Ghostbusters videogame, don’t turn it down, because you might miss a chance to hang out with Bill Murray and your breasts will look like weird pancake flappers when you take your top off in Death and the Maiden.
