If you haven’t tried the PlayStation Network download title High Velocity Bowling, you should; it’s amazingly decent.
I’ve had it on my PlayStation 3 for awhile, and finally fired it up a few weeks ago. To my surprise, the game uses the SIXAXIS motion control, and has you tilting and “rolling” the ball using the controller. It’s like the bowling game on Wii Sports, only shinier and there are far more options.
The developer has also been pumping extra content out for the game, including characters, and this week brings two more bowlers. For $.99 a piece, you can grab two new “strikers”: Bruce ‘Flyboy’ Fitzpatrick, who looks like a cast member of Tool Academy, and Carmen ‘Sordida’ Sanchez who looks like she would stab me for $.99 to buy DLC for High Velocity Bowling.
The new bowlers will be available with today’s PSN update.
