As Link prepares to defeat the Demon King, he explores the entire nation and helps Hyruleans along the way. The stables dotting Hyrule are always bustling with activity, so it’s not a surprise that there are often Hyruleans around who require Link’s aid. Feathered Fugitives is a rather fun quest that has Link collecting all the missing Cuccos for Teli.

If you’re having trouble finding all the clucking Cuccos for the Feathered Fugitives quest, this guide will reveal where they are in Tears of the Kingdom.

How to start the Feathered Fugitives quest in Tears of the Kingdom

Before you can start the Feathered Fugitives quest, you need to complete the Gourmets Gone Missing quest, which is part of the Lucky Clover Gazette quests. To start the Princess Zelda Sightings! quest, head to Rito. You’ll find the Lucky Clover Team in a reused stable near Oromuwak Shrine.

Once the prerequisite quest has been completed, you can visit the Riverside Stable to start the Feathered Fugitives quest. Speak to Teli, who is standing outside, and the quest will begin. He has lost five Cuccos, and he needs help getting them back. This shouldn’t be a problem for Link.

  • You’ll find the last Cucco on a rock in the river behind the pen. The river is too deep for Link to carry the Cucco across, so you’ll have to build a bridge first. Luckily there are construction supplies nearby. Three wooden planks fused lengthwise will do the trick.

After all the Cuccos have been returned, Teli will show his gratitude by giving Link 100 Rupees. While you’re at the stable, visit Beedle to stock up on supplies, and rest in the inn to replenish Link’s health and stamina while scoring some useful Pony Points.
