Armor sets can be your best friend in Tears of the Kindom. Around Hyrule, you’ll find a plethora of armors that’ll benefit your playthrough. While some armor can bolster your abilities, others will provide protection, or even a boost to your damage when exposed to certain elements. And for Shock resistance, there’s the Rubber Armor.

Rubber Armor Set Locations in Tears of the Kingdom

While some armor, like the Climbing Gear, can bolster your climbing speed and stamina drain, other armors, like the Froggy Armor, protect you from the weather in certain situations.

The Rubber Armor is no different. However, instead of making it easier for traversal, the Rubber Armor serves as protection against electrical attacks. The pieces are scattered throughout three separate locations in Hyrule, so finding each one is simple if you know where to look.

The first piece of armor is located directly north of the Teniten Shrine. Its coordinates are (-0062, -1052, 0019). There’s a cave that’s blocked off by some rocks, but a well-placed Bomb Flower or a Zonai Bomb should do the trick. Once you head into the cave, you’ll be met with some Keese. dispatch them if you want, and make your way to the right side of the cave, it’s blocked by two sets of vines.

Cut through the vines and drop down the hole, you’ll be faced against three skeleton Bokoblins. Once you defeat them, ascend up the platform to your left. The hallway will contain a Rock-Like, if you think you can pass them, run past. Or, if you defeat them, you’ll receive a chest containing a shield.

Once you make it past the Rock Like, you’ll have to blow up another wall to progress. This time, you’ll come face to face with an Electric Like-Like. You’ll need to defeat this one as well. Once it’s taken out, blow up the stone wall it’s blocking, and climb up. You’ll find a small shrine like structure, and a chest containing the Rubber Armor chest piece.

From here, you’ll need to make your way to the Faron Grasslands. Along the bank of the Floria River, and just across the water from the Sarjon Woods, you’ll find a cave cover in vines. Its coordinates are (1193, -3167, 0027). Cut down the vines and make your way inside. From here, you’ll notice that the only way through the cave is via a river. You can make a raft with the trees from outside, and work your way through the stream, or you can use the Zora Armor to swim to the end yourself. As you ride (or swim) your way through the water, you’ll find vines blocking your path. It’s recommended to cut them down, though if you’re swimming without a raft, you can just swim past them.

You’ll come across two openings during your rafting expedition but just pass through them, as the chest holding the Rubber Helm is waiting at the very end of the stream.

The final piece can be found within the Horon Lagoon Cave. It’s directly west of Tear of the Dragon #9 (the one that resembles a Secret Stone). The cave itself is a hole you’ll need to jump into. Its coordinates are (4257, -0264, -0024)

Once inside,  defeat the enemies, and make your way to the stream on the far side of the cave. You can build another raft to ride, or use the Zora Armor to swim alone. Once you make it to the end, you’ll have to blow up another wall. Luckily, there’s some bomb flowers nearby. once the wall has been destroyed, you’ll find the Rubber Leggings, completing your shock-resistant armor set.
