A new season of Fortnite means there are plenty of new skins to obsess over and unlock in battle royale. The Chapter 4 Season 3 skins are generally centered around the new Wilds theme, featuring some adventurous characters who wouldn’t be out of place in an Indiana Jones movie.

How to unlock all the new skins in the Fortnite Wilds Battle Pass

As always, players can purchase the new Fortnite Wilds Battle Pass for the same general cost of 950 V-Bucks, as it has always been. This season’s pass works the same as in Season 2 Mega, where you can somewhat choose what order you unlock items in.

But you need to make sure to reach a certain level to access each page of the Battle Pass and certain characters. In addition to the usual gliders, loading screens, pickaxes, emotes, and the like that are here this season, there are seven new Battle Pass skins to unlock.

Plus, there is a midseason skin that will arrive down the line. Unfortunately, there is only one crossover character in this season’s Battle Pass.

Era

Era is the initial skin that you’ll unlock as soon as you purchase the premium version of the Fortnite Wilds Battle Pass. She has dark hair and blue, black, and gold armor that looks stylish. She is by my favorite original character this season. All you need to do is buy the pass and you can look like her in matches.

Trace

Trace is the second skin you can unlock. You’ll have to be level eight or higher to get him in the Battle Pass. He has this sweet Link from Tears of the Kingdom thing going on with his blue glowing arm, which has me intrigued.

Rian

Rian is a punk rockstar girl who happens to have a Punisher-like shirt on for some reason. Her fiery hair is intriguing alongside her matching orange jacket. You can unlock Rian starting at level 20.

Relik

Relik is available, beginning at level 32. His base form shows him in this bony Ultron-like armor and is alright. If you want his best look, though, reach level 38 for the Deepwalker variant of his skin.

Mariposa

Mariposa appears to be a wrestler who has now invaded the Battle Pass. You can unlock her at level 46 and her excellent Midnight Mariposa version at level 54.

Lorenzo

If you somehow missed out on Indiana Jones and want a true knock-off original character, Lorenzo is for you. He unlocks starting at level 62.

Optimus Prime

Optimus Prime is the sole crossover character in this season’s pass, featuring a heavily detailed but small version of the Autobot leader. You can unlock him starting at level 94

Purradise Meowscles

For some reason, a new version of Meowscles featuring him with tiger-like hair and a summer vacation outfit is the new bonus Battle Pass skin. Players have to wait until a month after the season’s launch to complete some challenges to unlock him.
