Having to keep track of every single species of fish and piece of fruit in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be tough. I mean, I’ve mastered the art of dodging and can take down multiple Lynels in quick succession; but if you asked me what any given fish looked like, I’d stare blankly at you for a few seconds. We’ve got you covered, though: here’s where to find Stealthfin Trout.

Where to find Stealthfin Trout in Hyrule

You’ll find an ample supply of Stealthfin Trout for upgrades/cooking materials in Lake Mekar: the body of water directly surrounding The Lost Forest. The closest tower is Typhlo Ruins to the north, but you’ll be able to easily float down to the lake using the Hyrule Castle Serutabomac Shrine waypoint.

The exact coordinates of a great fishing spot for Stealthfin Trout are as follows: 0404, 1636, 0123.

What do Stealthfin Trout look like?

When looking at Stealthfin Trout via the in-game materials menu, it’ll be visible as a small blue sardine-like creature with red fins. Out in the overworld, the Stealthfin Trout is a bit more luminescent looking and can be difficult to catch.
