The device plugs right into a USB port and gives you access to controller-editing features in Call of Duty you normally wouldn’t be able to access. For instance, you can change the aim assist for weapons, eliminate recoil, and even modify general gameplay. It essentially acts as a modifier for the controller, rather than hacking the software itself.

The Cronus Zen is how some players will fire any gun without any recoil whatsoever and always have perfect aim. It is also possible to boost the aim assist and allow players to know where other players are, even through walls and doors on maps.

These days, it is quite common to see seemingly talented players being accused of using Cronus Zen, such as the situation with NitroLukeDX supposedly being caught on stream with the device.

Can you get banned for using Cronus Zen?

We can’t recommend using Cronus Zen because you can absolutely banned for it. Though the third-party hardware focuses on modifying the controller, MW2 and Warzone 2.0’s Ricochet anti-cheat software can now apparently detect its use.

In other words, anyone cheating with the Cronus Zen should expect punishment. This can come in a couple of different ways. You could potentially get a warning and a second chance to stop using the cheating tech. This temporary suspension results in the game itself blocking your shots from damaging other players to protect them. Even worse, you could instantly receive a permanent ban for using Cronus. As such, it’s best to avoid using this hardware entirely.
