How to claim & redeem your DLC items in Dead Island 2

Dead Island 2 is finally here, and alongside of the release is a whole list of DLC items to redeem. Anyone who has purchased Dead Island 2 at launch will have at least one DLC bonus to unlock. We’ll cover the different versions and how to redeem the accompanying items on each platform below.

Dead Island 2 DLC differences

Those who have purchased a physical copy of Dead Island 2 have three versions of the game to choose from:

• The Day One Edition
• The Pulp Edition
• The Hell-A Edition

All three versions come with a code for the “Memories of Banoi Pack.” The Pulp Edition, which is exclusive to GameStop in the US and other retailers worldwide, also comes with the “Pulp Weapons Pack.” Finally, the limited Hell-A Edition comes with those packs, the “Golden Weapons Pack,” “Character Pack 1&2,” and the game’s expansion pass.

It’s important to note that for those who have purchased Dead Island 2 digitally, all of the content that comes with your version of the game should be automatically applied to your account. No redemption is necessary!

How to redeem the Dead Island 2 DLC on PlayStation 5

1. Go to the PlayStation Store icon on the left of the console’s dashboard.
2. Select the three dots on the top right of the PlayStation Store screen.
3. Choose “Redeem Codes” and input the code/s that came with Dead Island 2. Depending on your version of the game, you’ll need to enter multiple codes.
4. Open Dead Island 2, and you’ll be greeted with a screen that looks something like the one below, confirming your redeemed content.

How to redeem the Dead Island 2 DLC on PlayStation 4

1. Open the PlayStation Store from the left of the console’s dashboard.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the tab on the left of the store and click “Redeem Codes.”
3. Enter the code/s from Dead Island 2. Make sure to enter all of the codes that come with your version of the game.
4. When you open Dead Island 2, you should be greeted with a screen similar to the one pictured above.

How to redeem the Dead Island 2 DLC on Xbox Series/One consoles

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller.
2. Open the Store icon at the bottom of the pop-up window.
3. Scroll down to “Redeem” on the left tab.
4. Enter the code/s included with Dead Island 2. Enter all of the codes that came with your copy of the game.
5. Open the game, and you will be greeted with a confirmation similar to the one pictured above.
