It’s one of the easier postgame rewards to pick up

You’ll get the Wolf Tail as a reward for clearing the remake on Assisted mode with an S+ ranking

Clearing out assisted mode is one of the easier challenges in the Resident Evil 4 remake, as it’s the lowest possible difficulty. Enemies will be weaker, and you’ll earn more money throughout your playthrough to spend at The Merchant.

To get an S+ ranking on assisted mode, you’ll need to clear the game in less than four hours. You also need to be on a fresh playthrough file: meaning, you cannot “extend” your game with NG+ (New Game+) and keep all of your items/weapons/upgrades from a previous playthrough. Go to the main menu, start a new game, and select assisted mode.

We still recommend going for an S+ ranking after beating the game

The Resident Evil 4 remake changes quite a bit, and even if you’re a master of ̶u̶n̶l̶o̶c̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ the original RE4, a lot has been altered, added, or cut. You’re not going to know the best routes to take or every time you need to run or stand and fight to cut down on your clear time.

Going in blind and getting an S+ rank (especially on assisted mode) is definitely possible, but there’s nothing more frustrating than getting near the end and realizing your clear time isn’t going to cut it.
