After playing LittleBigPlanet at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, I can honestly say it is firmly planted in my top 5 most anticipated games of the year. It feels like so much information about the title has been leaked since its announcement at last year’s E3 that we should know all the ins and outs by now, but it seems Media Molecule likes to tease us like panting dogs. We like that.
Co-founder Alex Evans recently commented to Eurogamer that “another LittleBigPlanet reveal that people don’t see coming” is on the way very soon. He also mentions that “people will be saying, ‘I thought it was this – now you’re telling me it’s this as well?!'” Perhaps there will be more depth to the happy little platformer than we originally thought, although I could spend hours customizing a sackboy without having scratched the surface of the game itself.
What do you think this big secret might be?
