I just can’t settle with the MK krew

It’s the day after Friday. If nearly four decades of life has taught me anything, that means that today is Saturday and the weekend starts here! For plenty of you that means a couple of days of doing your own thang, or at least some boring household chores. But whatever you all have lined up, I hope you find some time to squeeze in some fun. After all, you deserve it – now there’s some quality enabling.

I haven’t dug into much this week, but I’m still plugging away at Mortal Kombat 11. NetherRealm’s patch to aid grinding woes dropped at the beginning of the week (along with the free currency pack) and to be fair, I do feel both have made a difference. The system is still pretty ridiculous, but the rewards seem to be a little richer. Koins are now in abundance, although Heart stills remain a total effort. Oh yeah, there’s also a fighting game attached as a side-mode, and MK 11 as a fighter is pretty great. But try as I might I just can’t get down with the roster. None of my favourites are here, and I’m really struggling to settle on a main. The beat(ing) goes on.
