Anyone who’s looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077 will probably be elated to know that there’s a lot more Cyberpunk on the horizon. CD Projekt Red is working on not one, not two, but three Cyberpunk games at the same time.

As reported by Polish outlet Bankier, CD Projekt Red president Adam KiciÅ„ski confirmed during a conference this morning that the developer has three teams working on individual Cyberpunk projects. One is the game that has been eagerly awaited for years now. The second is a standalone multiplayer title that may launch close to Cyberpunk 2077.

The third is probably the most intriguing — although the cart is in front of the horse here, considering that Cyberpunk 2077 is still nine months out. CD Projekt Red says its next major unannounced triple-A title is in the Cyberpunk universe and that it’s “a really big and innovative project.” This will likely release in 2021.

This news is both surprising and unsurprising all at once. Cyberpunk is too attractive of a property for a video game one-off. It’s smart to leverage some of the foundation of Cyberpunk 2077 for use in other games. But three at the same time? That’s above and beyond.
