PC gamers have been shooting each other up in id Software’s Enemy Territory: Quake Wars for quite a while now, but the time has finally come when console owners can partake in the team-based multiplayer fragfest as well.

That’s right, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Quake Wars are out now in the U.S., and will be released on May 30 in Europe and Australia.

I’ve never been a huge team player, so when I tried the PC beta for Quake Wars a while back, my team got destroyed more often than not. Even though I never took the time to learn how to play as the different classes correctly, I still sort of dug the game.

Anyone here picking up Quake Wars this week?
