Spirit of the North looks like a pleasant animal adventure

And that’s fine by me

I’ve already filed Spirit of the North in my mind as “that chill fox game.” The upcoming third-person adventure has players exploring Iceland-inspired scenery as a red fox. You’ll solve light environmental puzzles, and that’s basically it. This is a contemplative, dialog-free piece of visual storytelling.

Sometimes I’m a glutton for gaming punishment, and sometimes I just want a low-key experience that lets me marvel at nature. Spirit of the North is “coming first to PS4” at an as-yet-unknown date.
