The first of many Pokemon toys, I’m sure

I can picture it now: it’s 3:00am and I’m lying in bed, eyes closed, when I hear a slight rustle. “Eh, it’s just my imagination. I’m still half-asleep.” Then it happens again. I toss and turn a bit, slowly becoming more conscious, and open my eyes. The face of death is staring back at me. It’s Funko Pop Pikachu.

Funko has the go-ahead to make Pokémon figures and here’s our first look at Pikachu. Its expression is cheerful, but those eyes. Those eyes! “Welcome to the wonderful world of Pokémon Pop” indeed.

Pikachu Pop will be available exclusively at Target later this month.
