We here at Destructoid are huge advocates of playing games on the toilet. The Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable have revolutionized the fine Art of S**t Taking, replacing magazines and newspapers as the entertainment of choice after a particularly hearty meal. Hey, it beats reading the usage instructions on a shampoo bottle over and over again, right? (Don’t act like you’ve never done it.)
GameDaily’s Chris Buffa has compiled a decent (and helpful) list, entitled “Games to Play on the Toilet.” This “serious business” piece of gaming journalism includes the likes of Tetris DS, Puzzle Quest, and WipeOut Pure (it has the word “wipe” in it; you can’t go wrong). Buffa even suggests the mental challenges of Brain Age to help you squeeze one out, or getting a bit creative with Ubisoft’s Jam Sessions.
Notice any glaring ommissions, or do you have any particularly thoughtful additions? Personally, I’d suggest Guitar Hero III on the Xbox 360. Sure, my wife wasn’t thrilled when I dragged our LCD television out of the living room and into the bathroom. But what better place to practice “Through the Fire and Flames” with limited interruptions?
